Party for Paws – Thursday, May 22nd from 6 to 9 p.m. at Encore Restaurant and Bar, 492 Pearl St. in downtown Buffalo. Benefitting the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter, the event features food and drinks, music, auctions, prizes and much more. Tickets for the event are $25 at the door or through the event’s Facebook page.

All Wright All Day Trolley Tour – Friday, May 23rd – plus other dates throughout the summer and fall – with the trolley leaving from Forest Lawn Cemetery, 1411 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo. On the tour, visit the Martin House Complex, the Filling Station at the Pierce Arrow Museum, the Fontana Boat House, Graycliff Estate and the Blue Sky Mausoleum at Forest Lawn; also included is a catered lunch at the Boathouse. Cost is $125 for the general public, $115 for members of the Martin House or Graycliff; trolley leaves Forest Lawn at 8:30 a.m. Find out more about the tour at www.darwinmartinhouse.org.

Tree Peony Festival of Flowers – Saturday and Sunday, May 24th and 25th at Linwood Gardens, 1912 York Rd. in Pavilion. Linwood Gardens is a private residence with tree peonies dating back to 1940. A donation of $8 is suggested, and guided tours are available for $12 – visit www.linwoodgardens.org for more information.
