A fundraiser for the Aquarium, SEAsonings is billed as the “Original Taste of Niagara Falls,” featuring food, wine and beverage sampling from around the area. Buffalo Home and Garden Show – Friday through Sunday, March 8th through 10th and March 15th through 17th at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center on Franklin St. in downtown Buffalo. Creative Black Tye-Dye Gala – Saturday, March 9th beginning at 6 p.m. at the Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel in Niagara Falls. The 60th anniversary benefit for the Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center features a 1960s theme with cocktails, a seated dinner, silent and live auctions and basket raffles, plus music from the Grassroots. Say Cheeeese – Saturday and Sunday, March 9th and 10th at participating wineries on the Cayuga Wine Trail. Visitors receive a complimentary wine glass, a wine charm from each winery and recipe cards; each winery will offer a pairing of wine and a cheese dish. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day; tickets are $30 per person and $45 per couple in advance, $35 per person and $50 per couple at the door – designated drivers tickets are also available ($25 per person and $40 per couple).
