National Garden Festival – now through Saturday, August 2nd throughout the Buffalo-Niagara region. The six-week garden party will include special events, garden-related bus tours, garden walks, a garden art sale and more. This weekend is highlighted by Garden Walk Buffalo, taking place Saturday and Sunday, July 26th and 27th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Orleans County 4-H Fair – Monday through Saturday, July 21st through 26th at the fairgrounds at 12690 NYS Route 31 in Albion. Chautauqua County Fair – Monday through Sunday, July 21st through 27th at the Chautauqua County Fairgrounds, 1089 Central Ave. in Dunkirk. Highlights include two demolition derbies (July 2nd and 27th), a performance of “The Impossible Dream” Elvis tribute (July 26th), harness racing (July 21st) and the Empire State Pullers (July 24th). Taste of Orchard Park and Caribbean Night – Wednesday, July 23rd from 6 to 10 p.m. at the intersection of W. Quaker St. and N. Buffalo St. – part of Quaker Days in Orchard Park. Sample food from a variety of restaurants and listen to live music. Find out more at everythingop.com.
