Canal Fest of the Tonawandas – now through Sunday, July 20th on both sides of the canal in Tonawanda and North Tonawanda. Features food and beverages, midway rides, demonstrations, live entertainment and more. Galbani Buffalo Italian Heritage Festival – Thursday through Sunday, July 17th through 20th from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily along Hertel Ave. in Buffalo. The annual festival features live entertainment, contests, cooking demonstrations and plenty of delicious Italian food. Rock the Barn – Friday and Saturday, July 18th and 19th at The Big Yellow Barn, 9015 Main St. in Clarence. Two days of blues music and great food to benefit the Clarence Newstead Meals on Wheels Task Force. Tickets are $15 in advance for both days – free for kids under 10; tickets will be $20 at the door. Buffalo Brewers Festival – Saturday, July 19th from 3 to 10 p.m. at Canalside in downtown Buffalo. Event will feature a “Meet the Brewers” tent, beer and food tasting sessions presented by Premier Gourmet, live music, food trucks and more. A concert featuring JJ Grey & Mofro takes place 7 to 10 p.m. with $5 pints of local beers presented by the Buffalo Niagara Brewers Association.
