NIGHT LIGHTS at the Gardens - Wednesday through Saturday, February 6th through 9th at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave. in Buffalo. The Gardens come alive at night with this exhibit of theatrical and interactive lighting displays. Hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays and 6 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Sweet Charity – Thursday, February 7th from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Asbury Hall (a/k/a The Church at Babeville), 341 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo. The fundraiser for the Food Bank of WNY features area restaurants and wineries. Ticket are $50 and available at sweetcharityevent.com.

WNY Home and Garden Show – Thursday through Sunday, February 7th through 10th at the Hamburg Fairgrounds. Get ideas for upcoming home and garden projects, visit with vendors and companies and visit the Wien and Food Garden. Hours are Thursday and Friday from 2 to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 a.m. to 5 p.m.; admission is $7 for adults and free for children under 10. Labatt Blue Pond Hockey Tournament – Saturday, February 9th (make-up date – Sunday, February 10th) at the Erie Basin Marina in downtown Buffalo. The 6th annual tournament, taking place from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., will feature more than 650 players competing at a number of levels. The tournament will now be played on man-made rinks at the Marina – stay up-to-date with the latest about the tournament at www.labattbluepondhockey.com.

Graycliff Valentine’s Tour – Saturday, February 9th at 10:45 a.m. at Graycliff Estate, 6472 Old Lakeshore Rd. in Derby. The tour includes information about Frank Lloyd Wright’s design of Graycliff, as well as anecdotes about his love life (Wright was married three times).
