NIGHT LIGHTS at the Gardens - Wednesday through Saturday, February 13th through 16th at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave. in Buffalo. The Gardens come alive at night with this exhibit of theatrical and interactive lighting displays. Hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays and 6 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Wine and Chocolate Weekend – Friday through Sunday, February 15th through 17th at participating wineries in Lake Erie Wine Country (formerly the Chautauqua Lake Erie Wine Trail). Sample chocolate and wine pairings at each winery and receive a booklet of recipes for all that you sample. Tickets are $35 and good for all three days of the event – find out more at www.lakeeriewinecountry.org.

Graycliff Valentine’s Tour – Saturday, February 16th at 11 a.m. at Graycliff Estate, 6472 Old Lakeshore Rd. in Derby. The tour includes information about Frank Lloyd Wright’s design of Graycliff, as well as anecdotes about his love life (Wright was married three times). Summer in February – Saturday, February 16th through Sunday, February 24th in the Food Court at Eastern Hills Mall, 4545 Transit Rd. in Williamsville. Hours are Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. There’s an ice cream eating contest on Saturday, February 16th (noon) and Fun in the Sun games and prizes on Saturday, February 23rd (1 to 3 p.m.).
