Do you sometimes feel your life is spinning around and around like a merry-go-round?

Sometimes life is like a merry-go-round
Sometimes life is like a merry-go-round

Do you feel like you’re just waiting for it to slow down or even just stop so that you can get off?

Why? Because you have had enough of this life’s turbulence!

Well, God knew this would happen to you, especially, in a world that is dominated by Satan’s influences. There are many things God has taught us in the B.I.B.L.E. (which is the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth - to go to our home in Heaven). Things concerning how this earth would become after Satan who is like a roaring lion, attacks our very core of existence while we dwell here on the earth. (1 Peter 5:8)

Let’s just look at how we got on this merry-go-round in the first place, and how we can get off.

First of all, God warned us to not listen to any other doctrine other than that which Christ established.

Why would we need to be cautioned by God about His own sacred instructions?

Does someone else have the right to change what Christ has established in heaven and on earth, with God’s blessing?

Well the answer is this:

We needed to be cautioned, because from the beginning of time Satan has tried to undo the good and holy things God had established between Himself and man.

Why is Satan doing this?

Because Satan wants what the “only begotten Son of God” has. He wanted all the glory and all the power. Yes, it all started with the seeds of doubt Satan influenced into the mind of the first woman “Eve” (in the form of a serpent - Genesis 3).

Furthermore, Satan is the prince of this world and he has been found guilty and wanting for lying on God. God has also judged him to eternal damnation.

  • John 12:31

Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

  • John 16:11

Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

  • 2 Peter 3:7

But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

  • Revelation 20

(Read the entire chapter to find out what happens to Satan)

If he could get into an animal like the serpent, he can certainly get into wayward men who speak not the things that are in the Holy Scriptures.

Why?

Because the whole world is under his influence, therefore, they try to change God’s words for personal gain.

That is why God has warned us through the Holy Scriptures. It was prophesied long ago and we are living through it now. That is why sometimes your life, my life, and all our lives seem like a merry-go-round. But like everything else in life, we can decide whether we are going to listen to those lies or follow Jesus’ footsteps. He left us a blueprint to follow in His word – throughout the Bible.

So when you feel like you are on the merry-go-round of life, remember these scriptures:

  • Ephesians 4:14

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

  • 2 Timothy 4: 1-4

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

(Read the entire chapter of Matthew 24)
And follow Jesus to your salvation:

  • Matthew 24: 11-13

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
