This week: A serious discussion about guns in America

On Sunday, February 10 at 12:30 p.m., the First Unitarian Universalist Church is hosting a Sunday Forum about gun violence with three panelists:

  • Randolph Roth is a professor of History and Sociology at The Ohio State University and author of American Homicide.
  • Charles Smith teaches a course on gun violence for the OSU Political Science Department each semester. Smith has a strong reputation for speaking out for protecting second amendment gun rights in America.
  • Brian Rothenberg, Executive Director of ProgressOhio, will represent the Ohio Coalition Against Gun Violence.

"This Sunday Forum will be a very special one," said Earl Wurdlow, who organizes the Community Leaders Forum for the Adult Enrichment Program of the First Unitarian Universalist Church. "We have never had three panelists who were more qualified to talk to us about a serious topic."

This discussion is free and open to the Columbus community. For more information, contact Earl Wurdlow at (614) 296-6304.
