Happy Valentine's Day San Jose Knitters!

Hopefully this article finds you with all your Valentine knitting gifts complete and ready to give to your lucky sweetheart.

Valentine's Day is not the only notable occasion this week. Saturday, February 16th, South Bay knitters are invited to celebrate, National Make a Blanket Day, hosted by the San Jose Chapter of Project Linus.

Knitters who are interested in participating in the blanket making festivities can meet at St. Edwards Episcopal Church in San Jose, from 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Not working on a blanket currently?

Show up anyways, as there will be several group projects to work on too.

Project Linus is a charity whose mission is to provide security through blankets to children in need. The South Bay/ San Jose Chapter has been pairing knitted, quilted and other hand crafted blankets with children since 2002.
