This Tuesday, Feb 12: Every Time I Die, The Acacia Strain and Vanna at The Venue (Photos)

There's nothing like a good metal show early in the week to keep the adrenaline push into the weekend. This Tuesday, February 12, The Venue is bringing the weight with a packed show which includes: Every Time I Die, The Acacia Strain, Vanna, Hundredth, No Bragging Rights and Bone Dance. Tickets for this massive show are only $17 and are available here.

Buffalo New York's Every Time I Die have never been an easy act to categorize and that's one of the key reasons why the band's fans have never turned their back on this innovative act's unique brand of music. While the band started out in the late '90s hardcore scene, over the past decade they've continued to evolve and push the boundaries of heavy music, a process that's culminating with their sixth full-length "Ex Lives". Recorded by Joe Barresi (Tool, Queens Of The Stone Age) "Ex Lives" sees the band—vocalist Keith Buckley, guitarists Jordan Buckley and Andy Williams, drummer Ryan Leger—coming together to create the most forward-thinking album of their career.

It can be said that some bands truly embody a certain spirit or emotion. Without a doubt, Massachusetts’ long running deathcore juggernauts, The Acacia Strain, truly embody anger. And that shows more than ever on their newest full length, "Death Is The Only Mortal" which was released in October 2012. The album is the band's sixth studio effort, and finds vocalist Vincent Bennett, guitarist Daniel "DL" Laskiewicz, bassist Jack Strong, and drummer Kevin Boutot continuing to push the boundaries of their rage.

Boston hardcore quintet, Vanna promises to be one of the show's highlights. The group is currently on tour in support of its upcoming fourth studio effort, "The Few and The Far Between", which marks their second album for Razor & Tie/Armoury Records. The album is slated for a March 19 release, but fans can get a listen to the new track "Year of the Rat" here. Vanna has sold over 60,000 albums to date, and 2013 promises to blow that number through the roof for vocalist Davey Muise, guitarists Nick Lambert and Joel Pastuszak, bassist Shawn Marquis, and drummer Eric "Rabbit" Gross. Pastuszak and Gross both joined the band in 2012.
