Everyday children are born around the world. Some babies are being born in hospitals, and some have other means like a home. Some parents have received several gifts during a baby shower before the baby is born. Gifts include clothing, blankets, diapers, baby bed, toys, and the lists can go forever. The baby normally has more than enough.

The above description is far more luxurious than when Jesus was born. He was born in a lowly setting. The inn or hotel had no room for his parents. There was no hospital near. A baby shower was out of the question since the family was travelling. Cloths were His receiving blanket. A manger was His bed. Imagine the King of Kings was born in such a way and identified Himself with all people.

The shepherds were told about Jesus and His birth. They were given detailed instructions. They found Jesus in cloths and in a manger as they were told. God has placed His Holy Spirit in believers and sends them with the message of Jesus Christ.

Challenge: Believer, be a witness of all that God has said and showed to you! Someone needs to hear about Jesus!
