The first annual Summertime Carnival Festival is bringing the fun to Lake Worth, Florida. on Sat. July 26.

The full day event will feature more than 40 local businesses and a range of activities and entertainment for the whole family. Furthermore, part of the proceeds will benefit Boys Town South Florida. The Summertime Festival will be held at the American-German club located in Lake Worth, Florida from 12-10 p.m.

To summarize, the festival will offer a variety of family friendly activities, including carnival rides, a petting zoo, face painting, martial arts exhibitions, games and more. The main stage will feature the donation ceremony, including a song from your favorite ice queen. In addition, Pee Wee Lewis and the Hues promise to take attendees on a time traveling journey with their 80's feel good Pop classics. PWL music trajectory goes back to the mid 80's when they started as a rock/pop high school band. One of the main events they've played was the SunFest in West Palm Beach. Lastly, the locals Red Seven Depot band will take over with covers from the 90's and today's hits. The boys combined experience includes appearances in festivals like SunFest in West Palm Beach, The Buzz Festival and the Argentine Festival at Bayfront Park in Miami, just to name a few. Moreover, a DJ dance party and Ni Ma Lion Dance will perform on stage.

Regarding the admission, kids are in free, however with the purchase of an adult ticket valued at $19 using promo code "BoysTownSouthFlorida", the purchaser receives a $5 discount on their ticket. Also, a $5 donation will be issued to Boys Town South Florida.

Care Coordination services is an in-home family based program that provides a lifeline to children suffering from mental health issues. Boys Town Behavioral Health Clinic offers services to children of all ages who have emotional or behavioral problems, as well as family therapy. Hence, their goal is to help struggling families stay together.

Kid Activities Today was founded by a local mom with the mission of helping families spend less time looking for things to do and more time doing them. The blog features event and activities mainly for children, happening around Palm Beach County. "Kid Activities Today is all about connecting families with local businesses and events and creating unique experiences" said Jennifer Chiampou, Chief Fun-Seeker at Kid Activities Today.
