This Saturday in Indianapolis is not one for staying at home! There are so many exciting things for families going on downtown.

There are tons of kids activities and non-stop kids live shows. Click here to see a meet and greet schedule to be sure to catch your child's favorite character. Don't forget strollers and sunscreen, your kids won't want to leave!

This is a must see part of world history - many of the ancient Egyptian artifacts in this exhibit have never before been seen in the United States. The exhibit will span over four galleries and feature the world known 10 foot statue of King Tut in original paint - pretty impressive.
- Ronald McDonald House of Indiana 2009 Block Party - FREE - Saturday, June 27th from 7am to 7pm at the RMH located near IUPUI at Michigan and Limestone Street. Folks, what would be a better way to spend a Saturday with your family than having enjoying games, activities, music, and food with all proceeds going to the RMH? The Ronald McDonald House provides a home-away-from-home for families of children being treated by area hospitals, mainly Riley Hospital for Children. I really can't think of anything better.
- Fishers Freedom Festival - FREE - Saturday and Sunday, June 27th and 28th. Enjoy the freedom parade on Saturday and festival activities, live music, and fireworks on Sunday at Holland Park. Don't forget to have your kids decorate their bikes, trikes, or strollers in red, white, and blue for a chance to win a prize and to be in the parade down 116th street! For more details visit the site above. Okay, so this event is in Fishers, but well worth your time!
