On Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 4 p.m., Gorilla Music will present: The Charlotte Battle of The Bands. This event is a great opportunity for an aggressive line-up of local bands to get recognized, while making a huge impact on Charlotte’s local music scene.
Per the verbiage on Gorilla Music’s event page, “Through a battle of the bands, groups are able to gain experience, play in great venues for great crowds, and learn more about the music business.” With that known, it could be safe to day that winning such a showcase will be extremely beneficial for whichever band takes the cake.
