Are you looking for some Christmas pudding along with a traditional Holiday meal? The Victoria Freehouse's Dickens Christmas Roast food event is happening this Saturday. The food event Dickens Christmas Roasts are offered from 5 p.m.-10:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, and 21, 2013.

The food event of Dickens Christmas Roast of a three courses of traditional british fare is $25 per person. Each week the menu changes, and each week The Victoria Freehouse offers an optional beer or wine pairing.

Dickens Christmas Roast are also available every Saturday in December from 6-9 p.m. at The British Chip Shop in Haddonfield, NJ (BYOB) the sister restaurant of The Victoria Freehouse.

1st Course- Lancashire and Pear Tart

2nd Course- Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding with herb roasted potatoes and vegetables with a horseradish sauce

3rd Course- Gingerbread and Butter Pudding served warm with a spiced rum ice cream

The Victoria Freehouse takes inspiration from the traditional pubs of Great Britain and is the perfect destination for Brits, Yanks, out-of-towners, and Old City regulars. They offer classic British fare, in a causal but refined pub atmosphere with rich wooden tables, a comfortable bar, an ornate ceiling, and authentic British décor that pays homage to The Queen and the British countryside. Popular favorites include Fish & Chips, Welsh Rarebit and Sticky Toffee Pudding. The cocktails are seasonally inspired by English gardens using fresh herbs, the draught pours are all UK Imports and are offered in 20 oz. Imperial Pints.
