Ro2 Art at Aloft Hotel

Dallas, TX 75202

As part of the MAC's community outreach program, the MAC has teamed up with Ro2 to extend its contemporary artistic vision and educational support to downtown Dallas. This new partnership promotes and supports contemporary talent with monthly exhibitions throughout the year. Donations from Ro2 Art will benefit artistic programming at the MAC.

This exciting new collaboration continues with a Winter Group Show on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 6 pm until 9 pm. The MAC will present a video by Houston artist Kelly Sears.

Kelly Sears is an animator and filmmaker living in Houston, TX. She is a 2009-2011 fellow at the Core Program at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Her work has been shown at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Hammer Museum, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, Anthology Film Archives, Sundance and in galleries and film festivals internationally.

The Winter Group Show will also feature work by Sibylle Bauer, Chris Bramel, Michael Christopher, Linda Guy, Mike Kury, and an installation by Ryder Richards.
