As I wrote earlier, 10 year old Jackie Evancho, who thrilled us on America's Got Talent, sounds remarkably like Sarah Brightman who has performed "Time to Say Good-bye" with Andrea Bocelli.

Now in this video we see how much alike the two really are -- Jackie sings with her idol. She has talent and poise and radiates love.

Love is...

People often talk about being in love. They talk about this emotional high. We hear that love is an attraction, a certain chemistry, an intoxication as noted in this new UK study.

When two people meet and fall in love it is as if they were touched by the same star.

For little Jackie, she is the star and her voice touches all of us. Sometimes couples simply need to take a music break in their busy lives to be uplifted by an angel and fall in love all over again.

Your gift of love

Musical love is heavenly.  But in the real world of relationships, love has its risks. Love exposes our vulnerabilities. But the upside as Leo Buscaglia once said is this, “Love is life. And if you miss love, you miss life.”

If you make a mistake in love, forgive yourself and go on loving, don’t retreat. Reach out. Someone out there is waiting for your gift of love.

(Note, she was not the AGT winner, though she certainly won over many hearts.)

    Rita,

You may not be aware of this, but with People magazine, as with many other publications which have both print and online versions, the 2 versions are NOT the same.

The online version usually contains considerably less information than the print edition - though with a few publications it’s just the opposite. However, in most cases, the 2 versions are rarely ever exactly the same. (Otherwise, most people would read the publication online, and not bother to buy a physical copy.) Most consumer magazines have taken huge circulation hits these past few years.

    However – I digress . . . back to our discussion of links. . .

No real point in linking to the online version of a publication, if the information referred to appears ONLY in the PRINT version of the magazine.

That would be the equivalent of sending the reader on a wild goose chase.

    Sincerely,

    Ruth.

This must have been such a great thrill to her to be able to sing together. Thanks for sharing - I was not following this - great to see and hear!

I've watched it ten times now. CHILLS each and every time. I have always loved Sarah and now little Jackie :) I started crying when Sarah kissed Jackie's head at the end. Sarah would have been a WONDERFUL mother and I know how much she wanted to be and her own personal tragedies. I hope she mentors her. That would be wonderful for the both of them. Sarah can protect her voice, as she stated, from being overused and ruined by being used too harshly too young. The look of AWE on Jackie's face while watching Sarah sing is PRICELESS, then the little smile, then back to awe. LIke she was thinking to herself in that moment, 'Sarah's really here, singing with ME!" so cute!

Little Jackie is so special indeed! I had heard of her, with me living in the Pittsburgh suburbs. I had not heard her sing until I saw her perform " O Mio Babbino Caro " on AGT. I was awed, and I was sure I was hearing, and seeing a Angel. This is not ordinary talent by any means! Here I am a pretty tough old guy, and I cried when I heard her. I knew why though for sure. I really felt this little girls talent was a special gift from God for all of us. How we handle it, is up to each of us. For me, it lifted my Spirit, and made me feel better about life. It gave me renewed hope, and it reminded me that there really is a God in Heaven! My thoughts are that only God could have given that little girl such a talent. The love Jackie gives off when she sings is what overwhelmed me. I hope some other people may feel the same way when they hear her sing. I hope to to get to hear her sing in person some day soon. Thank you!

I agree with all above. Never in my life have I heard a child sing like Jackie. I do believe Las Vegas is not the place for a 10 year old though. It would be too much for her at her age. She needs to be a little normal 10 year old girl first. She can make several CD's and people will be lined up to buy them. I for one will in that line-up.
Yes, God sent us an angel to sing to us and make us feel at peace with the world. I also have to listen to her over and over. I thank her parents for letting us enjoy this little girl and I am sure they are so very proud of her. Thank you Mr & Mrs Evancho. You are truly blessed for having her.......
