Where is the peace and  justice this holiday season for 40 million people along the Gulf of Mexico coast, tens of thousands of whom are already sick and/or dying as reports now verify? That is the question Cherri Fotlyn asked today in her new video, "TheGulfNow_001.wmv." This holiday, watch the video, share it with everyone you know, and stand with the people of the Gulf.

The video below highlights that the suffering people of the Gulf continue to be forsaken - by government and fellow Americans. Text within the video includes:

"The media has gone."

"BP has all but pulled out."

"And while the government announced a civil suit against 9 defendants....the government is talking about money... we're talking about life."

Most people blame the oil crime against humanity and planet on BP. Noted in the video, however, is the fact that it was the U.S. military that enabled the chemical weapon attack on the American people of the Gulf.

After ordered to halt use of Corexit dispersant, the "Coast Guard gave British Petroleum 72 exemptions for the use of Corexit, which is a known cancer causing chemical."

The video is a moving picture of atrocities and facts set to the powerful K.D. Lang's rendition of Hallelujah. It takes the viewer on a reality tour from day one of the Gulf Operation through today, over eight months later.

Photographers who contributed to this Youtube video include Gulf frontline workers who know the devastation of the Gulf Ground Zero:

John Wathen

Lorrie Williams

Sherry Allen

Rikki Ott

Cherri Foytlin

Peace to all peoples of Goodwill

The video's main message is the same repeated countless times, by countless Gulf victims, for nearly eight months:

"Stand with us."

Everyone I know in Arkansas is disgusted with the US media as well. The Gulf Issue must be lifted to the next higher order, and I don't feel this particular video furthers the cause. The graphics are compelling, but the song has been played to death. I would certainly consider doing a voice over with a real movie star, someone people really really like.
