This and that for Albany cats

Here is a quick round up of some current and upcoming programs, fundraisers and timely information from Albany are cat and animal advocacy organizations:

Little Mews Rescue is having an online fundraiser. When you buy jewelry 50% of the profits go towards Little Mews Rescue to help with expenses. It is magnetic jewelry and is lead and nickel free so if you have allergies to metal this will help. If you have a pace maker they do not recommend the necklace. They do have bracelets and rings.

Because the ordering is online no one has to be anywhere but home sitting in front of your computer and drinking coffee and ordering your jewelry. You can also custom make your own, if you have a favorite picture of your child, mother, father, aunt or grandparent, you can put them in the Design Tool to make your very own insert for the jewelry. It is fun and easy to do. Click on the link below and check out the all the possibilities of the interchangeable jewelry. It is nickel and lead free.

You can order at any time and your order ships to your house. This event ends on March 10th. Party number is 268 and you can order at www.peg.magnabilities.com.

Little Mews is a cat rescue organization located in Oxford, NY. For more information, see their Facebook page.

Purrfect Compnions cat Rescue is raising funds through ale of flowering bulbs and plants through April 1. Orders will arrive for Mother’s Day. All money raised goes directly to care for the kitties. They are a non-profit, volunteer, no kill, no cage cat rescue.

For more information, check out their Facebook page. To get an order form to take to work, etc. email : murphmasterflash1955@gmail.com or call Maryann at 518-331-2221.

This next link has no fundraising involved, but references purrfect and not so purrfect fashion from the Oscars. If you have a fashion forward kitty or just want a second look at some of the best or worst dressed attendees, check out Catster’s blog.
