Okay Los Angeles and anyone planning to be in SoCal in the next few months, there is plenty to see and do for the paranormal enthusiast! On Friday August 30, join Richard Senate with his very talented wife and psychic, Debbie Christenson Senate, for an evening with the more prominent ghosts of Ventura. This is an enjoyable and fun way to spend time in Ventura learning about a bit of the paranormal and a bit of local history mixed together.
Richard Senate will introduce the thirteen more prominent spirits in the city of Ventura. From spirits of the old mission, to a lady of the evening who used to work at a Ventura hotel and ghosts of the Ventura City Hall are a few of the specters to be discussed. The tour will cover where these spirits can be found and Mr. Senate will be happy to address questions and sign books.
The tour will commence at the Bank of Books bookshop at 748 E. Main Street in downtown Ventura at 7 PM and go on until 9PM. The event is only $5.00 per person so bring your friends, family, and even your frenemies to join in the fun.

Richard Senate is a recognized authority on local history and the paranormal. He is known as one of the top ten ghost hunters in the United States, having been investigating since he had his first paranormal experience back in 1978. In October, Pasadena’s own S.I.U. Supernatural Investigation Unit will be your hosts from October 12th through the 26th for “Haunted October”, which is a series of events that are open to the public. These are ghost walk tours at Suicide Bridge, Devil’s Gate Dam, The Haunted Forest and a few more places that are yet to be announced. Rumor has it that a cemetery will be added to the list.
