May 18 will be the third Sunday of the month, which means it will be the date for the next Third Sunday Series concert at the Church of the Advent of Christ the King. The featured soloists will be two young virtuoso players, violinist Ely Karr and harpsichordist John Chen. The program will feature the Baroque-period composers Antonio Vivaldi, Johann Sebastian Bach, Domenico Scarlatti, and Arcangelo Corelli. Violinist Christina Wong and cellist Ben Reed will also participate in some of the selections. As usual, the recital will be followed by a hosted reception with free champagne and hors d’oeuvres in the walled garden adjacent to the church.

This concert will begin at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 18. The Church of the Advent of Christ the King is located at 261 Fell Street, between Franklin Street and Gough Street. Admission is by donation with a suggested amount of $20. For those coming by car, there is a parking lot adjacent to the church.
