TOPEKA- A local Shawnee Heights Elementary third grade class is hosting a fundraiser for the Shawnee Heights Fire Fighter and his family who lost their home and all of their belongings to a fire last Wednesday.

After talking with her classmates of Mrs. Holguin’s third grade class at SHES students were on board and excited to help out.

The class will be holding a Lemonade Stand and Bake Sale at Church of the Nazerene located off 28th and Croco, Tuesday, March 18th , 3-6pm. Please come out on Tuesday to help the students raise money for their friends, donations are welcomed. Bake goodies include: cookies, brownies and cinnamon rolls from Sandy’s Sidewalk Café.
