Is a storm brewing concerning the third secret of Fatima? Pope Benedict XVI stated to journalists on May 13th, 2010, in his jet on the way to Fatima, that "Whoever thinks that the prophetic mission of Fatima is over, is DECEIVED. May these seven years that divide us from the centennial of the apparitions bring forth soon the FORESEEN TRIUMPH OF THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY."
On July 13, 1917, "Our Lady" is said to have entrusted three children with three secrets. Two were revealed in 1941 in a document written by Lucia (one of the children). Lucia would not reveal the third secret because she said Mary told her not to. In 1944, Bishop Silva ordered her to record the secret, and Lucia reportedly wrote the secret down and sealed it in an envelope not to be opened until 1960. But the text was not 'officially' opened and revealed until 2000 by Pope John Paul II.
The Third Secret of the three secrets of Fatima is supposedly an urgent message of hope. In the book, Fatima For Today: The Urgent Marian Message of Hope, by Fr. Andrew Apostoli, C.F.R., we learn even more about the Third Secret written by Sister Lucia. A controversy came about when the Vatican reportedly released a copy of Sister Lucia's handwritten text in a four-page format (rather than the original single page). Skeptics argue that the third secret of Fatima was a prophecy so traumatic and dire that several popes decided not to reveal it to the faithful, and yet, the text published in 2000 contained little more than an allegory about the church's past struggles with 20th-century ideologies.
If the prediction was so dire that popes wouldn't reveal it for years, one has to wonder why the 'official' explanation leaves Pope Benedict (and the skeptic) to state one is "DECEIVED" if he believes the matter is over. Perhaps an entirely different document could exist that reveals the 'real'Third Secret.
Many authors on the subject of the Third Secret of Fatima say the secret has to do with the sin that arises within the Church, and not from enemies outside.
So, Pope Benedict XVI has deliberately reopened the entire Third Secret controversy with his statement last May. Could the time be upon us for the secret to 'actually' be fulfilled, even though there are those in the Catholic church hierarchy that want us to believe the prophecy has already been fulfilled?
Sister Lucia, the third child who received the Visions of Fatima died in her Convent, Feb. 13, 2005, On that same day, this Bible Code was discovered with these words crossing: FATIMA - VIRGIN MARY - VISION COMET IMPACT TO EARTH DISASTER - SECRET - CONSPIRACY - NASA - KING OF TERROR - EARTH - REVELATION. And in another Bible Code the words: 2010 - 2012 AD FOR COMET IMPACT.
There are many sites you can go to and find varying opinions on the Fatima prophecies. But in light of the Pope's statement, that whoever thinks the prophetic mission of Fatima is over is being deceived, you might ponder the thought that a storm could definitely be brewing.
Now we just have to wait for Pope Benedict XVI's next statement on the subject to see which way the wind is blowing.

i have to agree with you james, its so sad that if in fact these were real visions from GOD, then why would a church of GOD supposibly the catholic faith hide and keep away an important message about the future. this faith has given religion a bad name, sad to have to say this, but it is a corrupted church, who was once a good thing has long since gone bad, but you know whats sadder then that, is that there is so many people in this faith, as many of them are mislead by there priest. a true faith for those who need to become fruitful is found here, www.shepherdschapel.com, here no lies are given to its people, its just a basic study of the bible verse by verse chapter by chapter, the way it should be, not some one poising as a so called holy man (priest) of a faith so fake, just go to a church of theres and see how much is said about the bible, and how much wind is blown by the priest, such a sad state of affairs for the roman catholic church, thats what happens when you change the word of the bible to fit your own liking, but hey they are very RICH, its good to have alot of suckers, there is one born everyday. im sad to have to state the truth against a so called christian faith, but IS IT REALLY? search for yourself the real truth and get back on GODS right side, save yourselfs while you still have time, this is just a shout out to all that will heard the call, children come home.
