Reel Big Fish and Goldfinger are set to perform at the Paramount on Nov. 13. Tickets, which range in price from $25 to $45, are on sale Sept. 20 at 10 a.m.
R5 has also been announced for Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale Sept. 20 at 10 a.m.
The Paramount, located at 370 New York Ave. in Huntington, New York, used to be the Inter-Media Arts Center.
However, the venue has been renovated back to its look and feel of the 1920s, when it was a two-story vaudeville theater.
"First of all, it's huge," said Rego Park resident Liz Degen of the Paramount experience. "I think it's perfect for any type of concertgoer. There are multiple bars, so it doesn't get too crowded. There's plenty of room on the floor to dance, mosh, crowdsurf, stand still, or whatever the kids are doing these days. Most importantly, guests have the option to go upstairs and sit down for free if they are not so young and full of life.
"I've been the photographer, the front row maniac singing my heart out to bands from the '90s, and the old lady sitting down on the top level enjoying my free right to be comfortable and far away from a sweaty crowd," Degen added. "Each concert-going experience of mine was absolutely a satisfying one."
