Living near the Gulf Coast, Houstonians have a plentiful seafood supply. Great craft beer is also in abundant supply and as every seafood lover knows, a great glass of beer can significantly enhance a seafood meal. An event scheduled for next week pairs up delicious seafood with local craft beer and everyone age 21 and up is invited. Here is some background information:
Event: Third Coast Clambake
Location: Triniti Restaurant and Bar, 2815 S. Shepherd, Houston, TX Phone: 713-527-9090
Date and Time: Tuesday, April 8, 2014 starting at 4pm
Karbach Brewing is pairing up with executive chef Ryan Hildebrand to present this outdoor clambake. Hildebrand and Triniti Restaurant have planned a feast, complete with clams, shrimp, corn, and potatoes. Karbach beer will flow from the taps for the perfect clambake taste combination.
As part of the festivities, the Guest Bartender Series will return at 7 p.m. with Mike Rojas from Beavers handling bartending duties. He will be serving up some of his specialty cocktails throughout the evening along with glasses of delicious Karbach beer.
The cost for this evening of seafood and beer is just $20 per person and includes a plate of food plus one glass of beer. Since no one can drink just one Karbach, Triniti is offering refills for the low price of just $3.50 each.
No reservation is necessary for the Third Coast Clambake and no advance ticket purchase is necessary. Just show up on Tuesday evening with your appetite and thirst intact. And enjoy this evening of Gulf Coast seafood and delicious local craft beer, courtesy of Triniti Restaurant, Ryan Hildebrand, and Karbach Brewing.
