On Vin Diesel's Facebook page, the 'Chronicles of Riddick' star posted a video of himself and director David Twohy taking some questions on the upcoming third entry in the film series, which is dubbed 'Dead Man Stalking.'
Twohy, who directed both 'Riddick' films thus far, responded to a question about which film the third will share more similarity with. "The movie itself is gonna be a lot like Pitch Black because of the money involved," he said.
Both Twohy and Diesel voiced their commitment to attaining an R-rating. "We want to maintain our R rating at any cost, and it's cost us a lot," Twohy said, with Diesel adding, "we're committed to going R."
'The Chronicles of Riddick: Dead Man Stalking' begins with Riddick having been ostracized from society on a planet where he must fight its vicious inhabitants to survive. He plots his revenge on those who have wronged him and strives to save his native planet. The film currently has a tentative release date of 2011.
