Third child on the way for ‘Young and the Restless’ star Steve Burton

Steve Burton is going to be a daddy again! The “Young and the Restless” actor took to his Twitter on Sunday to make the sweet announcement. The exciting news was posted on Michael Fairman Soaps on Jan. 19 saying that Burton and his wife Sheree are expecting their third child this summer.

The former “General Hospital” star chose to casually mention the baby news while he was tweeting about the NFL playoffs on Sunday saying, “Can’t wait for the games today..btw I’m having another kid..have a great day. God bless.” That certainly sounds just like him to mix up the two topics like that. He went on to say that the new baby is due in July and that it was an awesome surprise for their family. The couple have two other children, daughter Makena, 10, and son Jack, 7.

It sounds like something is in the water for the men of Burton’s band, Port Chuck. In addition to the 43-year-old soap star, the band consists of former “General Hospital” actors Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny) and Scott Reeves (ex-Steven), as well as recurring actor Bradford Anderson (Spinelli). Barash just had a baby daughter with Kirsten Storms, who plays Maxie Jones on the ABC soap, and Anderson is expecting a second baby with his wife Kierra. It is doubtful that Scott Reeves will announce any kind of baby news, but you never know what can happen.

Congratulations to Sheree and Steve Burton!
