Third anthrax scare: Letter containing white powder found at FBI headquarters

The third letter containing a mysterious white powder has been found at the FBI headquarters in Oklahoma City. According to a March 14 report by KWTV Channel 9 News in Oklahoma City, the call, alerting authorities to the white powder, possibly anthrax, was placed after 5 p.m.

The FBI and Secret Service agents are investigating this third letter that also contained a white powder. The FBI and Secret Service agents are also investigating the letters containing white powder at the U.S. Attorney's Office and the federal courthouse. All three locations are in downtown Oklahoma City.

Law enforcement in the Greater Oklahoma City Metro area have been quite busy today. In addition to the anthrax scares at the FBI headquarters, federal courthouse and the U.S. Attorney's Office, there was also a bomb threat at the Oklahoma County Courthouse, also in downtown Oklahoma City.

Three anthrax scares and a bomb threat isn't the all that has happened in the Greater Oklahoma City Metro area. There was also a bank robbery in Moore. The two suspects fled and caused several area schools to be put on lockdown.
