Make plans now to participate in the third annual “Stroll for Strays” Dog Walk and Pet Fair to benefit SAVE, A Friend to Homeless Animals. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 5, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mercer County Park's West Picnic Area, Princeton Junction, New Jersey.
"Stroll for Strays" will be a family-friendly event for dogs, people, non-profit groups, and vendors. The day’s activities will include raffles, fundraising, music, food and fun. The goal is to raise $25,000 for the shelter's programs which help the hundreds of animals that come through SAVE’s doors every year.
You may register to walk with or without a dog. Following are some ways to participate and help raise funds for SAVE:
- Participate in the event as a registered walker
