Tonight, the 6th Avenue Gallery of downtown Phoenix will host its third annual “Inspired Soles” event to benefit Artlink Phoenix. The art show, auction, and raffle will begin at 6:00pm at the 6th Avenue Gallery.

The auction will feature work by more than fifty artists who were tasked with creating a work of art from a plain black stiletto. The public showing of the shoes will run from 6:00 – 10:00 pm, and the silent auction will take place from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Any shoes that are not sold in tonight’s event will be available again at May’s First Friday event.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit ArtLink Phoenix, one of the oldest, all-volunteer run arts organizations in downtown Phoenix. ArtLink Phoenix works tirelessly to build the relationship between the arts and the community of downtown Phoenix, sponsoring regular events and outreach programs. These include the monthly First Fridays art walk, the annual Art Detour events, a Juried exhibition, and art-related fundraisers.
