I'm afraid I believe in letting Thanksgiving be the day you eat whatever you want to and enjoy your family favorite recipes that have been passed down through the years. My Brother in Law makes killer sausage stuffing.. I"m pretty sure it's about 1,000 calories a serving but YUM!
I agree - My grandma used to make a baked macaroni and cheese that was swimming in butter and that's the one day I try to recreate it, butter and all!
