A seasoned traveler once said if you want to find the English speaking people in any destination, head to the local Irish bar. Not sure if that’s true across the board, but in Tenerife the Claddagh Irish Bar is a popular hot-spot with the English speaking tourists, who can enjoy drinks and live Irish music there. The friendly staff and cheap drinks make the Beehive another favorite Tenerife bar for travelers.

Tenerife’s beaches are legendary and visitors will find there are many to choose from. Two favorites are Playa de la Teresitas and Playa Jardim. The most popular beach on Tenerife, Playa de la Teresitas, is a man-made beach featuring bars, restaurants and loads of shady palm trees. Head to the farthest section of the man-made beach Playa Jardim for the best swimming and a waterfall.
