Gather the kids and make plans to enjoy some of the summer excitement at the Walt Disney World Resorts. There is something for everyone in the family to enjoy, but especially the little ones. A variety of activities available this summer, include new shows, exciting events and lots of opportunities to cool off at the pool.
Here are some of the most exciting activities and events to do with the kids at Disney World this summer:
Frozen Summer Fun LIVE
Now through September 1, 2014 guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios can experience the magic of Disney’s animated film Frozen. A variety of new, chilling entertainment and ice-themed decor is planned throughout the park. Queen Elsa and Princess Anna will be making surprise visits along Hollywood Boulevard.
Sounds Like Summer Concert Series
Listen to some of the hottest bands rock the stage at the American Gardens Theatre at Epcot. Available at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Sammy Duvall’s water sports offer guests a chance to head out onto Bay Lake for a personal water-themed experience. Water activities through Sammy Duvall’s include parasailing, personal watercraft rentals and towed water sports.

Celebrate wildlife like an animal at Harambe Nights this summer at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. During this event you will be treated to a unique culinary experience set among the story of The Lion King. Harambe Nights will be held every Saturday from 7 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. now through August 9, 2014.
Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade
Feel like you are part of the magic during the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at the Magic Kingdom this summer. Your favorite Disney stories come alive with music and dancing in the streets of the kingdom.
Wild Africa Trek
Now through October 25, 2014 guests can save $50 off the cost of a ticket for the privately guided tour through the African wildlife at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park.
Cool off at one of two Disney water parks - Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach. Each water park offers thrill rides, lazy rivers and uniquely themed water slides and activities.
Take a boat ride around the waters of the Walt Disney World Resorts. Boat rentals are available from select resorts on Bay Lake, Seven Seas Lagoon and Crescent Lake.
Enjoy a variety of water attractions, including parasailing, jet skis and towed water sports from Sammy Duvall's at Disney's Contemporary Resort.
