Valentine’s Day is over and it’s time to get back into the bump and grind, or it’s time to shake things up and do something new! There are a ton of new things to try this week here in little Twin Falls, Idaho. No need to stay at home and lounge. There are fun events for just an intimate night of fun, or fun for the whole family. Check it out!

Feb 17th-22nd

  • Empty Bowl Fundraiser

Head down to Hands On located at 147 Shoshone St N and donate a painted bowl to the Empty Bowl Fundraiser on March 4th a the Turf Club. From now till the 24th go down to Hands On pick out a plain bowl from $8-$12 each and paint whatever you want. Studio and Glazing fees are waived for this project since it’s for charity. The goal is to reach 200 bowls and the proceeds will go to the South Central Community Action to fight hunger in the Magic Valley.

  • ‘Organic Native’ Exhibit

Located at the Twin Falls Center for the Arts (195 River Vista Place), there is a new exhibit called ‘Organic Native’. Featuring local artists Valarie Everton ‘Vadi’ and Jessica Larsen. Exhibit hours are Tues-Fri 10 AM -6 PM, Sat 11 AM- 3 PM

Thursday Feb 20th (and Every Thursday)

  • Happy Hour

Every Thursday at the Historic Ballroom located at 205 Shoshone St N, they have Happy Hour from 4 PM – 9 PM. Featuring a free appetizer bar prepared by Chef Danny. Each week brings a different theme. For more information call Jillian at 208-733-5313

  • Ladies Night

Every Thursday at Canyon Crest Dining and Events Center located at 330 Canyon Crest Drive, they have Ladies Night. From 6 PM – to closing ladies get half off drinks and appetizers! They also have live entertainment from 7 PM- 10 PM

Thursday Feb 20th

  • The Stage Door Series

CSI is featuring a performance called the Stage Door Series. This series is meant to be thought provoking, and designed to make you think outside of the box. Proceeds for the performance got to each of the CSI programs that performed. Tickets are $15 per person, per performance. You can buy your tickets at the door, the CSI Box Office, by calling 208-732-6288, or by going online to www.tickets.csi.edu The show is from 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM

Friday February 21st

  • Youth Options Extreme

The Youth Options Extreme is a teen night program hosted by the Salvation Army’s Administrative and Church office located at 348 4th Ave N. This program has an age restriction from ages 12-16, any older or any younger are not allowed. This Youth Options Extreme goes from 7 PM – 11 PM and features pool tables, air hockey, ping pong, and a Big Screen TV. Price is just $1 per person.

  • Live Music

Live Music every Friday and Saturday at Canyon Crest Dining and Events Center from 9 PM – 1 AM.

Saturday February 22nd

  • CSI Foundation Turns 30!

Help celebrate the College of Southern Idaho’s 30th Birthday. The party is 80’s themed so make sure to dig out your most vintage clothes. Costumes are encouraged but not a requirement. Enjoy 80’s music, with food and fun at the Turf Club located at 734 Falls Ave. Admission is $10 per person but you can make reservations by calling 208-732-6249.
