They Might Be Giants are an American alternative rock band formed in 1982 and are best known for an unconventional and experimental style of alternative music. They will be performing at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 2pm.
The group has found success on the modern rock and CMJ charts, in the children's music genre, and in theme music for several television programs and films. Parents and kids of all ages may recognize them from their TV music in The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and the Grammy Award-winning theme song from Malcom in the Middle, among others.
The family friendly duo has sold millions of records worldwide and continues to play to sold-out crowds at home and abroad. They Might Be Giants have been recently touring in support of their 12th studio album, The Else, which was created in collaboration with LA producers The Dust Brothers (Beck, Beastie Boys, Hanson).
Ticket prices for this event start at $19.50 to $29.50. You can order tickets at the Arsht Center website.
