The Legends of Motown Old School Tribute show captured the look, the sound and the feeling of being at a Motown concert. They packed a lot into one evening with impressions of the Supremes, Smokey Robinson, Gladys Knight, Al Green, James Brown, the Marvelettes, Temptations, Spinners, Four Tops, O'Jays, and many others. This was one big show with everybody's favorites, the classic songs that have lasted throughout all these years.

The announcer said, "Are you ready for Motown?" The audience yelled, "Yes", and the show began. What a selection of musical impressions of Gladys Knight singing "Midnight Train to Georgia", Al Green's renditions especially for the ladies "Let's stay together" and "Love and Happiness", with Motown's first successful female vocal group, the Marvelettes' up-beat "Don't Mess with Bill", the O'Jay's happy "Put your Hands Together", the Spinner's soulful "Puppy Love", The Four Tops' "Ain't No Woman (Like the One I've Got)";

The audience was invited to "get involved and let themselves be heard," they got everyone in the mood for a real Motown celebration.

I have continually reviewed most of these groups since the 80's and can say the comparisons are right on track. Many of these celebs have appeared on my live Las Vegas Today Shows "on location" at the Dunes, Aladdin, Continental and other hotels.

The Legends of Motown Old School Tribute show satisfies all of their most ardent fans while the audience showed their appreciation throughout the evening. Each of the groups is talented in recreating their renditions of the Motown era.

The Legends of Motown Old School Tribute show returns to the Cannery Hotel and Casino stage on October 10 & 11.

The stage is just high enough for the audience to see the show where ever there are seated. Away from the crowds of the strip, this is the place to come for reasonable priced entertainment, food, and fun.
