Among the unofficial Theros spoilers that the Magic rumormongers have gotten their hands on recently, one in particular has been hard to confirm real or fake - plausible though it seems, its photograph and source (an anonymous 4chan user) seem dubious. Still, the design and flavor elements seem to point toward it being true. It uses one of the pieces of art from the Planeswalker's Guide to Theros, Part 1, in a very apropos way. Here's the purported text of the second white mythic in Theros:
Heliod's Favor 5WWW
At the beginning of your upkeep, put X 2/2 white Pegasus creature tokens with flying onto the battlefield, where X is your devotion to white.
There have been a few complaints, at this stage in the Theros rumor season, that there have been no bomby build-around enchantments in the "enchantment block" so far. This card seems to satisfy those wants; it produces six power worth of flying creatures every turn when it's by itself; that alone is worth eight mana. When accelerated out and paired with a lot of small things with white in their cost, it ends games decisively. This is the kind of Timmy/Johnny card it's fun to see at mythic sometimes, and I have high hopes for it being real.
What do you think of this Pegasus-summoning enchantment? Let me know in the comments.
