According to ComicBook.com on Jan. 22, Stan Lee confirmed on "DweebCast" that he will not be making a cameo appearance in the film. In fact, Lee stated that was one of the comic book creations he was never involved in and doesn't even really know what they are all about.
Lee also was asked about his opinion about Ben Affleck's talent and as far as he was concerned he felt he'd do well as the new Batman and thought he didn't do good as most people would have hoped in "Daredevil", but Lee attributed that to the direction of the film. Lee also thought that both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield made great Spider-Man characters as they both have their own individual method of playing the character.
The Marvel creator even addressed a great, but non heroic personality Larry King and talked about his fast line of thinking. Out of the blue King appeared on "DweebCast" and demonstrated in an audible fashion, "How fast do I think?!"
"Guardians of the Galaxy" is scheduled to be released on Aug. 1.
