Other than Dublin itself, few cities celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with as much passion as New York. And its newest hotel NYLO New York City is proving the point. The Upper West Side boutique hotel is pulling out all stops on March 17 this year, pouring specialty cocktails and staging live performances. What’s more it’s just a few steps from the famed parade.
Guest staying at in house on St. Patty’s day will be treated to music from Irish American vintage jazz performer, Tara O’Grady who will perform LIVE @ LOCL kicking off the hotel’s music performance series available weekly at the eponymous bar. The Celtic tunes will provide a back to the saloon’s theme cocktails such as the Kiss Me I’m Irish, An Irish Meets Manhattan and the Green Cocktail. And you can even test your Irish luck by entering to win a complimentary night at the hotel when you spend $50 at the bar (not hard to do in NY).
The 33-suite, 285-guest hotel offers riginal artwork specially commissioned from emerging New York artists that reflect New York’s industrial jazz era, with design elements celebrating that era. Just next door the hotel, dim sum guru RedFarm and Manhattan staple Serafina dish out fine food to fuel you for an Irish night on the town.
