Surprisingly, not many people know about Applebee's trivia nights outside of the college crowd, which draws plenty of people on Wednesday nights after 9PM at most (if not, all) Applebee's locations.
Going by the local area code, the Applebee's located at 500 State Road, North Dartmouth does participate in the Wednesday night festivities, which also include Wednesday night being Ladies Night, along with 1/2 price appetizers after 9PM and prizes. You can find their menu here.
Since the focus of this review is on drinks, Applebee's has several new drinks on their menu, including draft specials served throughout the week. They have two new margaritas, the Red Apple 'Rita & the Blue Coconut Margarita, both made with Sauza Gold tequila. Their Flavored Perfect Margarita, served with 1800 Reposado 100% Blue Agave is a house special and one of the best tasting margaritas you can buy for a reasonable price at its size.
Apparently on designated Ladies Nights, Applebee's sangrias and fruity martinis tend to go quickly. For the sangrias, Applebee's serves a kiwi melon and red apple sangria, utilizing Sutter Home white zinfandel and cabernet, respectively. Similar to the red apple sangria is the ApplebeeTini, using Smirnoff Green Apple vodka, DeKuyper Red Apple liqueur apple juice and possibly, sour puckers.
A different kind of family restaurant, Applebee's serves great food and tasty, well-priced drinks. Further, a night there with friends on one of their themed nights, like Trivia Night, provide plenty of entertainment for your party. Trivia Night starts at 9PM on Wednesdays, and Applebee's now closes at Midnight at participating restaurants.
