Tuesday, July 29, 2014: This morning a deeper self involvement could arouse the feeling that you're on a train "bound for nowhere" and that feeling is likely to distract you from your work. If so, don't be too hard on yourself or others... work through it by taking one practical step after another and you'll get through the morning and past doing what must be done just fine. Take heart... because today there will also be time enough for dreamin' once the doing's done.
This afternoon you could be inspired to take a leap of faith. There's a bit of the gambler in each of us right now and as a purple haze creeps into the day, your distant dreams will seem doable... if you play your cards right.
Remember... winning in life isn't in the cards you've been dealt, it's in how you play them.
"...If you're gonna play the game, boy
You gotta learn to play it right
You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
Know when to run
You never count your money
When you're sittin' at the table
There'll be time enough for countin'
When the dealin's done
Every gambler knows
That the secret to survivin'
Is knowin' what to throw away
And knowin' what to keep..."
