In the midst of it's final season, The Office is getting a week off. There shall be no new episode this Thursday. Instead, last week's hour long misfire shall be left to fester in our souls for a little while longer. Fortunately, instead we will be getting two new episodes of Parks and Recreation which, at this point, is a better show than The Office. So, maybe it's not all bad.
Evidently, when The Office returns in a couple of weeks, we will be seeing "The Farm." That is to say, we will be seeing the episode that was to serve as a backdoor pilot for a Dwight Schrute spinoff. Of course, that didn't end up going, but we will get one week to see what The Farm may have looked like. If it has less Andy than last week's episode, it can't be all bad.
So, to recap, at 9:00 on this upcoming Thursday, you will be able to see the second new Parks and Rec of the week. Watch that and dream of Brian the Boom Mic Guy. Or maybe watch one of the many reruns you can see in syndication. You've got plenty of options.
