With over 200 shows each year performed by students, faculty staff, and guest artists, the Boston Conservatory offers remarkable insight into music, dance and theatre through their fully accredited graduate and undergraduate programs.
Their new fall season has been announced and tickets are on sale now! The Boston Conservatory has a select amount of free performances and innovative productions. Explore a wide variety of classical music, Broadway productions, polarizing plays, and much more this season.
Among the selections is a special production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s award-winning musical, ‘Oklahoma’ which is a first-time autism friendly performance at the Boston Conservatory Theatre. Families and those who are on the autism spectrum are encouraged to attend. Rogers and Hammerstein’s musical, ‘Oklahoma’ will take place Thursday, October 17 through Sunday, October 20 then from Thursday, October 24 through Saturday, October 26.
Artistically directed by Cathy Young, Boston Conservatory students take over the conservatory stage ‘From the Ground Up.’ ‘From the Ground Up’ features a set of renowned contemporary dance works with a special Spring 2013 dance preview, ‘Near/Miss’ from Thursday, November 7 through Sunday, November 10.
In showbiz, there is nothing more harried or exciting than putting on a production! In the comedic play by English playwright Michael Frayn, ‘Noises Off,’ the audience gets to see a play-within-a-play and a chance to see what is going onstage and off! Directed by Christopher Webb, ‘Noises Off’ will take place at the Boston Conservatory Theatre from Tuesday, December 10 through Friday, December 13!
