The authors of this show are brothers Bob and Jim Walton. They both have quite a history when it comes to writing other performances, plus they have performed in some of them.

Often recognized as an actress herself, Lesley Staples, who resides in Cape Coral, hails from the UK. She has made her home, however, in the states, and acting is her passion.

Lesley, do you attend these stage performances often?

"Yes, well I try to. I'm so glad I got to see this one, as it's almost over. I look forward to the next one."

Do you enjoy the fact that a meal is served too?

"Oh yes, that is a nice feature, eating and enjoying the show. I've always liked that idea."

What did you think of the show?

"I liked the topics they chose referring to issues experienced as a senior. The way they took sometimes serious moments in our life, and made them humorous. It worked. It was a great blend of acting, singing and getting a 'point across' at the same time. In other words, I liked the show!"

Was there any particular topic that was your favorite?

"Hmmm, I liked them all for different reasons, but I was partial to the 'Weekend Warriors' one for sure. In it, three men act out being jocks again, and the music and choreography were great!"

It sounds like you enjoyed the show. Is that right? Also, please share a bit about yourself, thank you.

"Yes, I did. I enjoyed myself thoroughly. As far as myself, I am an actress and have worked in film, TV and theatre (Florida Rep and others). 'Calendar Girls,' among other films, is a film I was proud to be a part of. I'm also a professional voiceover actress at Voice 123. With my husband, I am a pet and home sitter as well."

More behind-the-scenes of this comedic musical are director Paul Bernier, and the choreographer is Amy Marie McCleary. The actors are Erin Fish, Jennie Hollander, Victor Legarreta, Autumn O'Ryan, Peter Riopelle, Robert Summers, Megan Opalinski and Michael J. Parker.

A bit of Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre's history includes the Prather family. They have produced quality theatre for more than 45 years. The Prathers bring years of expertise to each production and are known for creating a comfortable, but luxurious ambiance in each of their theatres. Lesley Staples was not the only one who enjoyed the show. Many could be heard saying:

"What a great show!"

"That hit the nail on the head."

"Man, I've been there. I know the feeling."

"I love their food. My favorite desserts include their ice cream sundae and the many pies!"
