There are not usually a lot of secular concerts on Easter; however, this year there are several Central Iowa venues hosting shows. After enduring the sunrise church service, the Easter brunch with the in-laws, the traditional egg hunt with your kids, and about nine chocolate bunnies and Cadbury Cream Eggs, here are three concerts to help you wind down tomorrow night.

The House of Bricks in Des Moines will host their annual "420 Party" at 5 p.m. Sunday. Carroll-based reggae and funk quartet The Young Funk, Omaha-based electronic dance duo Linear Symmetry, and Auburn roots rockers King of the Tramps will all take the stage. The show is an all ages affair, and there will be a $5 cover charge at the door.

Vaudeville Mews in Des Moines will also host a "420 Party" on Sunday. The 8 p.m. 21-and-up hip hop show will feature performances by Des Moines' Ziggy Pop, Urbandale's Powers Ink Project, and newcomers Chef D and MazoRati. This show will also have a $5 cover.

Gas Lamp in Des Moines will host an all ages punk show Sunday at 6 p.m. On the bill for the event are Guttermouth (Huntington Beach, California), The Architects (Kansas City), Down Goes Goodman (Chicago), and Tyborn Jig (Des Moines). Advanced tickets are $10 through Tikly, and prices jump to $15 at the door. Check out Guttermouth in action in the nearby video.
