'Victor Newman' (Eric Braeden) has never been known to follow his wife's advice. But, life in Genoa City can catch loyal viewers off-guard. Such was the case when 'Nikki Newman's' (Melody Thomas Scott) direction regarding family pressure was quickly followed.
'The Young and the Restless' storyline involving Camryn Grimes' full-time return offers plenty of potential fictional directions. Viewers still haven't learned her new character's name. However, the mystery involving who she is was answered when it was revealed the the 'Dark Knight' was this young lady's patron and that he was using the uncanny nature of her appearance as a weapon against 'Sharon Newman' (Sharon Case) as an attempt to ferret secret information from her.
'Victor' was warned by Grimes' character that 'Sharon' was being pushed too far through their deceptive game. While he initially rejected her plea, news of his former daughter-in-law's hospitalization (due to mental exhaustion) appears to have changed his mind regarding those ghostly gestures.
It seems impossible to believe that 'Sharon' and 'Victor' will remain the only links in town to actually see whoever Grimes is portraying this time around. Someone from 'Cassie's' past seems bound to spot this dead-ringer very soon.
If, or likely when, the 'Cassie' look-a-like is discovered, 'Sharon's' mind will partially clear. In contrast, 'Victor's' reputation among his beloved could become monstrously stormy.
