No longer 'Robert Scorpio' on 'General Hospital', Tristan Rogers has reverted to his 'Colin Atkinson' attire on CBS' daytime steamer 'The Young and the Restless' effective immediately.

The highly-volatile departure of 'YR' star Michael Muhney actually took place in December. But, subsequent recording schedules didn't allow 'Adam Newman' to leave the screen until last week. And, as every longtime soap fans knows, when one scoundrel leaves another often arrives.

Of course, 'Ian Ward' (Ray Wise) appeared recently as well. But, that's an aside for those who take fictional matters far too seriously.

The force that is 'Jill Foster Abbott' (Jess Walton), still reeling due to the loss of her foil 'Katherine Chancellor' (all hail the late, great Jeanne Cooper), was last seen handcuffed to a bed at some apparently remote destination.

Like many divas, Walton's character has been involved with countless questionable characters. Some stand out above the rest. So, was David Fralick 'Larry 'The Wartman' Warton' being offered a recurring contract again? No, Rogers received a new deal this time around.

Rogers' return is welcomed in consideration of the heavy plot lines that have been hanging over Genoa City for the past six months. 'Colin' will surely pursue plenty of comical adventures with 'Jill' in the coming months. Plus, a re-established tension line is certain to be repeatedly crossed with his remaining twin son 'Cane Ashby' (Daniel Goddard).
