There have been a lot of cast changes over the past few months on “The Young & the Restless,” and there is yet another one ahead for viewers. Elizabeth Hendrickson is leaving the role of Chloe and it seems she has wrapped up her filming. The star tweeted about her final experiences on set on Tuesday, and viewers are disappointed to see more change on the way.
Elizabeth Hendrickson noted on Tuesday that it had been an emotional day as she worked on cleaning out her dressing room. The prior day she noted that she was taping her second-to-last show. She made it clear that she is going to miss being there, even though ultimately it was her decision to leave “The Young & the Restless.”
As Soap Opera Digest notes, Hendrickson has played the role of Chloe since 2008. While it is not yet known what will happen to the character of Chloe, it seems Hendrickson's last air date in the role will be on Tuesday, May 27. There has been no word about a recast as of yet. The action playing out so far on-screen would lead many to believe that Chloe will likely leave Genoa City to get away from all of the heartbreak and stress regarding Delia, Connor and the rest.
Many “The Young & the Restless” fans on social media are disappointed to know that Elizabeth Hendrickson is leaving. Some are noting that the characters of Billy and Chloe have a great chemistry together. They express that it's a shame that the potential for that pairing won't have a chance to be explored.
Tune in to “Y&R” weekdays on CBS to see how the show handles the departure of Elizabeth Hendrickson. Many will be curious to see whether the Chloe departure is a quiet exit or a big storyline. There haven't been any "The Young & the Restless" spoilers pinpointing what to expect as of yet, so for now fans will have to stay tuned.
