The Ye Olde Legend of Bill

Picture if you will a muscle-bound barbarian who's traveled across endless oceans, defeated countless orcs and captured the hearts of helpless damsels. A man who only knows his blade and the blood stained upon it. That is what legends are made of.

Now imagine an intern who files taxes for the villagers, a pencil pusher of the wretched 9 to 5, and goes home with paper-cut wounds. This is where the Legend of Bill begins.

Who is Bill and why is he a legend? Some people are destined and know from birth, while others fall into circumstance. Bill is a mixture of both. More importantly, this story grabs the reader instantly and makes you care about the future of Bill and Frank. As the story begins, they both do something most of us daydream almost every month. He walked up to their boss and quit to go forth and seek adventure! Now that’s a man and blue dragon I can respect!

This comic strip combines brilliant colors and design to orchestrate deceit, silliness and everything in between is an absolutely gut-busting comic strip filled with orcs, ye-olde taverns, a psychotic and sexy sorceress, and the adventures of Bill, his little blue dragon-buddy Frank and their HOT-hitchhiker-gal Princess Gina.

The composure is non other than the well known scifi cartoonist David Reddick, creator of the geek-loved “The Trek Life,” which appeared on STARTREK.COM and now appears in Star Trek The Magazine. He now cartoons two other almost daily scifi comics based out of Los Angeles, “Rod & Barry” and “Gene’s Journal.”

A man of many talents, indeed...and the legend has just begun.

Below are sketches designed by David and published to the LegendofBill.com Website. Click on each one to see the full sized image on his site.
