Q. Will the Yankees offer regular season games again this year on WWOR?

A.  Yes, is the word. The Yankees and WWOR have agreed to continue their partnership in airing regular season games. The 2012 schedule is for 21 games. A combination of home and away contests.

In all cases the actual production of the games will be from the YES Network with YES/Yankees' group of announcers.

This will be the eighth consecutive year that WWOR (of New Jersey) will carry the games live to the over-the-air New York metro area (remember "over-the-air"? Still have an antenna?).

WWOR is one of two NY area stations controlled by Rupert Murdoch's FOX empire. WNYW 5, the FOX network outlet, is the other.

The first broadcast is April 10 at the Baltimore Orioles
